Programmer for nRF7002-DK

I am attempting to install the “Programmer” for the nRF7002-DK. I am using nrfconnect-5.2.0-x86_64.AppImage . Apparently the tool has changed a little since the image at step 2 of https://training.golioth.io/golioth-exploration/golioth-intro/hardware-setup . Instead there is a Quick Start. When I choose the Quick Start I end up getting a box which shows a board was detected. It shows Family 70, Device nRF7002 DK, a serial number, nothing under Custom name, and then a statement that says “Not supported yet”. There is no way to select the row and there is no way to click the Continue box.

What am I missing?

Hi John, thanks for reporting the issue.

I’m not able to replicate your experience, but maybe it’s because I already had the programmer installed? Do you have the option of scrolling down the list shown on the left of this screenshot and installing the programmer?

I haven’t used the quickstart, is it possible to skip it?

Side note: I downloaded nrfconnect 5.1.0 because 5.2.0 was not available for download. But when I ran it the update to 5.2.0 was offered.

I had originally missed the Programmer in the list. Now I have the programmer installed and was able to successfully program the board.
